The Government through the Road Development Agency (RDA) has completed construction works of the Silanda Bridge in Kalabo District in Western Province.

The Agency earlier in 2023 commenced with construction works on 142 metres Luanginga Bridge whose works have also been completed.

Equally, works on the Silanda Bridge with a span of 129 metres now stands at 100% complete.

The connecting road between the two bridges will be constructed immediately after the rainy season.
