The Road Development Agency (RDA) has installed a new, two channel box culvert at Nyaviyombo in Chipangali District in Eastern Province.
In the recent past, a 800 millimetres high access slab at Nyaviyombo which provided access to Nyaviyombo Primary School and a Clinic had inadequate capacity which led to overtopping during the rainy seasons hence putting road users at risk.
The RDA Regional Office in Eastern Province instituted measures to address the situation by constructing a 1.5 x 1.5 metres, two channels box culvert with approach roads.
