China Geo-Engineering Corporation and Chipangano Builders Limited JV have started mobilising in readiness to commence rehabilitation works on the Batoka-Maamba Road in Southern Province.
The Government through the Road Development Agency (RDA) is undertaking the rehabilitation of the Batoka-Maamba Road (88 kilometres) which is a critical artery linking Batoka and Maamba in the Southern Province.
The project will significantly improve access between Batoka, Maamba and surrounding areas. This will streamline the movement of people and goods, fostering vibrant trade and economic growth across the region.
The improved road will directly benefit Zambia’s vital mining and agricultural sectors. Faster and more efficient transportation will connect producers to markets, unlocking economic potential and promote job creation.
