Works to upgrade the Hankomone Drainage structure along Chisekesi-Gwembe-Munyumbwe Road in Southern Province are substantially completed.

The existing drift has been upgraded through the installation of 5 lines of 1500mm × 1500mm portal frame culverts.

The upgraded drainage structure will guarantee an all-weather access road between Gwembe District and Munyumbe District without interruption of traffic movement during rainy seasons.
